INTELLIGENT RECHARGING SOLUTIONS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES: CirCarLife (See section E)

CIRCONTROL, in partnership with various government departments and in response to their needs, has developed a new business line aimed at providing solutions for all future situations that may arise during the process of rolling out electric vehicles.

CIRCONTROL has developed various intelligent systems for charging electric vehicles, which guarantee the optimum EFFICIENCY of the facilities.

Each one of the solutions designed by CIRCONTROL fulfils a specific function, currently covering the following range of options:

The range of solutions offered by CIRCONTROL takes into account what are considered to be basic needs: charging in cities, public car parks, petrol stations or private car parks (homes).

The intelligent vehicle-charging system has the following objective:

  • Intelligent charging with the option of charging vehicles during off-peak hours, duration of the charging time and controlled charging to prevent the collapse of the grid.
  • Prepaid systems, so that users only pay for the energy their vehicles consume.
  • Completely safe, intuitive systems which can be used by any user.




INTELLIGENT CHARGING SYSTEMS FOR CAR PARKS



Public underground car parks or car parks in buildings provide an optimum location for installing vehicle charging systems, since these operate with security or control staff and users feel safer leaving their vehicles plugged in at supervised facilities.

The Spanish government’s “Movele” plan contemplates a total of one million electric vehicles on the road by 2014. According to the Spanish association of car park operators - ASESGA, there are currently 1,200,000 parking spaces available in Spain.

At present there are approximately 27,000,000 vehicles registered in Spain, which means that there will have to be 44,000 parking spaces equipped with these systems by the year 2014 to service all the electric vehicles in circulation.

These are theoretical calculations, but it remains a fact that the car park sector must be prepared to serve these users and increase their customer loyalty by making a firm commitment to green vehicles.
